AKAS SYRU 6006 is a "smart pump" equipped with the dose error reduction systems (DERS) software which allows the syringe pumps to warn users of incorrect medication orders, calculation errors or mis programming that would result in improper dosage of a drug.SYRU 6006 accommodates a drug name up to 2000 in a drug library mode. When the drug name chosen is from the vasopressor category the LEDs glow in the violet colour (as per international colour coding standards) and green indicating a vasopressor drug is getting infused. It is stackable with up to 4-5 pumps and can be carried with ease while transferring between wards.The pump has Wi-Fi connectivity to transfer theinfusion data wirelessly to the centralmonitoring station in a secure manner. It alsohas RS232 connectivity compatible with an HL7communication protocol to seamlessly transferdata. The pump also equipped with dynamicpressure system where the pressure in the PMOline is displayed on the screen helping nursesidentify an occlusion even before the occlusionhas occurred.
